Stardust Fallout went to Feelgoods to see some local Vegas bands: Atlas Takes Aim, The Lazy Stars and Imagine Dragons. When we entered it took all of sixty-seconds to understand what we have been hearing from others about Feelgoods. Vince Neil, renowned front man for Motley Crue and VH1 reality star, has brought back the rock and roll atmosphere to Las Vegas by opening Feelgoods Rockbar and Grill.

Feelgoods is located at 6750 W. Sahara Avenue, not only goes against the grain of your average Sin City bar and grill with no gambling AND no smoking inside, yet it still provides a awesome rock and roll feel-good environment. If you live in Las Vegas, sometimes it feels great to get away from the smoke and the sound of the slot machines. I mean really, we have slot machines in our gas stations! Not only was there a rock star around every corner, but no one was interrupting their meal to hassle them for autographs or long conversation. It was the first time I've ever been in an environment with so many famous names that were treated like regular people.

The first person we met from the staff was Manager Kevin Mack who gave us a rundown on the food that was being served. The crowd favorite was the pizza and "The Vince Burger." After a nice little interview with Mack, he introduced us to bartender Noah Parker who made us a few signature drinks that FeelGoods has to offer...

                                                             1                                     2                                      3

1 - The Blood Bath: 1/2 cabernet, 1/2 chambord and a splash of cranberry.

2 - The Sunset: Absolut mandarin, mango peach and a splash of sour juice.

3 -The Blandini Shot: Captain Morgan's 100 proof, orange juice, pineapple, lime juice and grenadine.

I must say that all of the drinks were perfect!

The restaurant area was rocked out with music and pictures with the likes of Ozzy, Motley Crue, a nice tribute to the God of metal guitar Dimebag Darrell and one thing that caught my eye was the telephone booth that was an actual coffin! Above your head for lights were empty drum shells with different colored lights to pretty much give it a feeling like you were on stage. Speaking of the stage, it was huge! It was jam packed with amplifiers! If you are a musician you want to play on this stage. They did an amazing job with this place. As a musician myself, I wanted to grab a guitar and join the band on stage.

As far as the bands that performed that night, I was not surprised at all. They were great. . . as usual! The Las Vegas music scene has been getting better and better over the last 3 years and some people in the industry even think Vegas is one of the hottest spots in America for local music. I happen to agree and the proof is here in Sin City.

Now onto the bands: Atlas Takes Aim was a perfect mix of melody and power, The Lazy Stars as always were just flawless, I could seriously watch those guys live every night. I was very impressed with Imagine Dragons, the lead singer was a little under the weather and one of the other band members was dealing with a recent death in the family, but when they hit the stage you couldn't tell anything was wrong. They were great!

We had the chance to interview Vince Neil's son "Neil," and he was a total class act. In a joking manner I tried and tried to get some info on a possible new "Cruefest" coming this summer, but I got nothing! However, Vince should be proud of Neil and I am sure he is, Neil could not have been more cordial and we thank him for the hospitality.

One last thing, the wait staff was very outgoing and and a lot of fun to chat with. They were all knowledgeable of the menu and a very big help to us for being first time visitors.  AND if  you happen to dine at Feelgoods, there is a certain waitress there named "Crystal Z," tell her I will NOT give her $10 for 2 peppermints and a stick of gum!
