I am not really sure where to start this review of Montesano's Italian Eateria. I guess one should start with their slogan "where love has a taste". This would be the perfect starting point for this amazing display of true Italian perfection at its best.
When I sat and talked with Steve Montesano it was not hard to see where the passion for food comes from. It is the family and the love for simple honest food. This is a real family run operation. Every family member has their own task to make this restaurant what it is. Montesano's had started quite some time ago back in 1957 in fact, in Bronx, N.Y. It then moved to it's current location in 1991 and it has remained one of the best kept Las Vegas hidden jewels ever since. We are on a mission to change this. We want to world to know about this restaurant. Something this good should be shared with everyone.
Everything you will have at Montesano's is made from scratch everyday from the fresh bakery goods to the sauce "GRAVY" and all the way down to milling their own spices to be used. Everything is held to the strict standards of only the best. They also plan their menu and specials on what is in season only. The menu has something for everyone from the meat lovers to the vegetarians in the family. You will be hard pressed to find something that will not want to make you come back everyday for life.
The Montesano's treat everyone that eats at their restaurant like family. This would be the reason along with the amazing treats on the menu why it is highly recommended to make reservations on Friday's and Saturday's. Montesano's also offers daily specials that are posted at the restaurant and on their Facebook page.

Garlic Knots - These will be the best way to start off your dinner and also the best way of never seeing your dinner at the same time. once you start with these garlic knots you will not be able to start. The homemade from scratch ranch dip does not make this any easier. |

House Salad - Fresh mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes, roasted almonds, cherry peppers. The freshness of this salad is top to bottom. They make their own mozzarella for this salad and it shows. |

Meatball Parmigiano Hero - This is one of the house favorites that you must experience to see what the Montesano's are all about. Everything is prepared fresh all the way down to the fresh baked roll. Perfection! |

Homemade Cannoli - Crispy cannoli shells filled with our sweet ricotta cheese filling and dipped in chocolate chips. These Cannolis should come with a warning label. You will have dreams about having more just so you are prepared. Do not say we didn't warn you. |

Pink's Hot Dog
When you think if Pink's of course you think LA. Well it is here in the wonderful Las Vegas, NV. Located outside Planet Hollywood, Pink's is everything you wanted and then some. Not only are you getting the best hot dog but you get to eat it outside and look out at Las Vegas Boulevard while enjoying your dog. To add some more pleasure to your mouth you can order from a choice of frozen strawberry daiquiri, strawberry margarita or pink lemonade. My personal preference was the frozen pink lemonade, and may I add I did drink the whole 32 oz. of it! No matter what toppings you are in the mood for you can definitely find it at Pink's. Everything we had was fresh and tasty and everyone working had a smile. They even have a veggie dog for all you non meat eaters. The fries are to die for and the onion rings are even better. You will have a hard time choosing on what exactly to order since everything is just delicious. Make sure on your next Las Vegas Boulevard trip that you include Pink's on your to do list.

Overall, our whole experience at Tacos and Tequila was quite amazing. The food, the service, the laughs, and the mmmm this food is tasty in mouth! The dish presence was unforgettable as was the desserts. Everything we tried was delicious. Not one item was dry or needed something extra. Everyone we came in contact with was very welcoming and friendly and overall loved that they working at Tacos and Tequila. This might be the bext mexican food on the strip.

Combo Ceviches.. When Saul brought this combo out I was not too sure which one to dive my fork into first! We had Tuna, Shrimp and Mahi Mahi. Tuna was sashimi very citrus tasting, Mahi Mahi was very fresh with a tomato base and buffalo sauce, Shrimp was very good lime taste stood out much in the shrimp dish. Overall, my favorite was the Mahi Mahi as I love tomato's to begin with. |

The Nachos.. WOW Bowl of goodness! Corn chips,fresh black beans, chipotle-cheese sauce, guacamole, pico de gallo and crema fresca.. One of the best plates we had there! |

Chicken Sabana... Another amazing dish we had at T&T. Pounded chicken that looks like a quesadilla, stuffed with onion,black beans,avocado,pico de gallo,poblano,chile morita sauce and rice.. Deliciouso!! |

Mahi Mahi Plate.. All I can say is O-M-G soo many flavors in this dish and the fish was cooked perfectly. The Anahiem pepper stuffed with goat cheese made this dish! The mahi mahi is pan roasted with spicy tomato olive sauce,onion,caper and bell pepper. My favorite of the plates! |
